denn and i are terribly stumped. we attempted to whip up dinner at waterplace and both of us were so excited about the prospects of burning the kitchen down that we failed to notice that the pasta and bolognese sauce were missing. they were not in the cold storage carrier / not in his car / not in the boot , though we're positively sure that he did pick everything up from the cashier. and so ... the evening ended with weird tasting noodles. tsk²
attempted to take some pictures of the area early in the morning but ming hui dropped by while i was getting ready to snap a shot of the "only walk through if you are david copperfield" sideglass. will probably sneak a couple more pictures when the nintendo wii is installed in our funky pantry. i've got a very spacious work area that's been 1/4 utilized by far. the shelf is barely filled and am constantly thinking of ways to further maximize storage space. it'll only be a matter of time before i use it all up ~~~ heh. on second thoughts, i do hope that there'll be more work for the upcoming week ... -prefers being constructive- ^^
missed out on world poll briefing on friday and attended the jobsdb gala dinner with veenesha. we took a bus from fullerton-alighted too early-took the same bus again before reaching ritz carlton in time for the cocktail reception. spent some time exploring the entire place, pranced around and camwhored before getting ready for the seven-course dinner. was surprised that jobsdb announced that they have taken over streetdirectory.com and the site is fully functional again. streetdirectory rawks ^^
food was pretty decent and veenesha was remarking how much the host, in a willy wonka suit, resembled bobby [i have very funky boss], before i realized that it was glenn ong o.o jobsdb must have paid him quite a hefty sum to dress up in this manner.-chuckles- ~~~ the entire event was pretty entertaining but we were disappointed with the magic performance by ning and jc. while jc was awesome, veenesha and i both felt that ning was mediocre. she was obviously playing too much on her sex appeal coz i was so much more focused on her booty & boobies rather than the whatever straitjacket escape. o.o
that pretty much concludes the week and am sure looking forward to ramen-ing with my favorite shore & seed ^^
