it seems that this week will be a long one ...
not much stuff on my plate but today started with a disturbing piece of news that i wasn't anticipating.
apparently one of our project executive has been asked to leave the company. and she didn't tell anyone until the very morning. from her 1st hand account, it seems that she has apparently been taken off all projects since dec and that was kinda like the beginning of the end. i have always known that an office environment is fraught with politics [not hard to figure out with a mum who is into power play] and hence i've been steering clear of anything that has the potential to become messy. this is such a stark difference from school where messages are communicated with no underlying meanings. over here, there are people who put on a smiley face and yet shoot very deadly arrows via emails :(
it's really sad that she has to leave us and i never knew that things could be so bad.
i had better keep my own fingers crossed and be careful about stepping on anyone's tails.
wouldn't want moi head to roll across the chopping board ...
